Backcheck · Verification and receipts

Proof that the work really happened.

Backcheck checks an AI agent's claimed actions against your system of record and returns a signed receipt.

What works today

An agent submits a claim and Backcheck checks it against your system of record. Every claim comes back verified, contradicted or indeterminate, with a signed, timestamped receipt you can check later. Backcheck connects read-only.

Turn on the optional ledger and receipts are chained and signed, so the record is tamper-evident: any later edit shows up when you verify it.

It fits any industry: orders, a payment system, a support desk, or wherever your team keeps its records.

Coming soon

Silent mode · coming soonQuietly records receipts in the background, so nobody's workflow changes until you need to pull one.
Hybrid alerts · coming soonScheduled rechecks, with an alert to the people you name when a record stops matching its receipt.
Your own signing key · coming soonHold the ledger's signing key yourself, so receipts verify against a key only you control.

I built Backcheck for the moment someone asks "did that really happen?" during an audit, a dispute or a missing-inventory hunt. You should be able to answer with a receipt, not a guess.
